Bio
After sitting out the 2011 season with injury, Martinez suffered another injury prior to the beginning of 2012 training camp. Martinez will remain with the team as an Undergraduate Assistant, but will no longer be an active player.
2011: Suffered a season-ending injury in the opening game and was granted a medical hardship waiver ... one of 26 Utes named to the Athletics Academic Honor Roll in at least one semester and one of 15 to earn that status in both semesters.
2010: Returned from injury to play seven games ... her only goal of the season was the game-winner against UNLV in the regular season ... took six shots, putting two on goal ... one of 17 Utes named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and one of seven to earn Dean's List status.
2009: Redshirted.
2008: Scored her first career goal at UNC Greensboro, helping Utah to a 2-1 double-overtime victory ... took 13 shots, putting three on frame ... played in 18 games, making 17 starts ... returned from offseason surgery to play in the spring exhibition season.
High School/Club: Helped the Colorado Rush to the 2008 U-18 club National Championship ... it was her first action after spending 10 months recovering from an ACL tear ... won six State Cup Championships (2002, `03, `04, `05, `07 and `08) in seven years with the Colorado Rush and was the runner-up in 2006 ... won the 2007 Disney Showcase ... helped lead Chatfield High School to three straight state tournament appearances and was a second-team all-conference selection as a senior ... was on the Chatfield honor roll all four years of high school.
