2018: Pac-12 All-Academic selection … played 15 games, starting four … notched three shots in contests at UC Irvine, vs. BYU and at No. 21 Colorado … played a career-high 69 minutes in contest with Oklahoma
2017: Played in 11 games during her inaugural season … first goal as a Ute came in a win over local rival Utah State … first collegiate point came on an assist in a win during the season opener over South Dakota State … registered an assist in a win over North Dakota State … registered five shots
Prior to Utah: An All-KingCo Conference selection, Thornton played on the right side of the midfield. She scored 10 goals to pace the team and assisted on six this in 2016. With CrossFire United, she won Mountain Division, Northwest Conference and ECNL Champions League titles at the U-14 through U-17 levels. She also played in Region IV ODP from 2014-16 and was asked to play against Italian side AS Roma
Personal: She is the daughter of Julie and Matt and has three siblings, Devon, Mattison and Taige. While at Eastlake, Tatum also served as a peer tutor for those with special needs while working on the yearbook and with the leadership council. An honors student, she earned scholar-athlete awards as a junior and senior. Tatum plans on majoring in marketing or entrepreneurship
