SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's soccer team has earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award after another successful year in the classroom.
A total of 598 soccer teams over three divisions posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2012-13 academic year. Utah posted a 3.45 team GPA and was third among all Pac-12 teams.
Since the award was instituted in 1996, Utah has been named 12 times, including the last four seasons. The Utes are second all-time among Pac-12 schools, trailing only Washington (13).
