UTAH: Backup nose tackle will play a lot in Utah's four-man tackle rotation.
2006-Saw action in 12 games as a true freshman, mostly on special teams ... 3 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss ... also saw some duty as a blocker on offense in short-yardage situations.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-state and all-region in 2005 ... Orem High (Utah) team captain ... won three letters in football and one in basketball ... spent his junior year in Samoa and was named the Samoan Islands defensive player of the year.
