UTAH: Walked on to the team in the fall of 2006 ... tried out at running back before moving to tight end ... also a key player on special teams.
2007: Played in all 13 games on special teams ... four tackles.
2006: Redshirt was a co-recipient of Utah's offensive "Future Award."
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned all-state honors as a senior at Cottonwood High School (Utah) in 2005 ... two-time all-conference selection ... Cottonwood's team captain ... lettered three years in both football and track and field.
