- Season-best 12 strikeouts came in a 6.2-inning outing against Cisco College.
Prior to College
- Finished his scholastic career at Lake Creek High School in Texas after beginning at Valor Christian in Colorado.
- Three-year varsity starter, with a potential fourth year impacted by the pandemic.
- Set the Lake Creek school record and ranked top-eight in Texas with his 0.67 ERA as a senior.
- Also played football in high school.
Personal
- Parents are Chris and Stephanie.
- Has one sibling, Jace.
- Uncle, Wayne Stewart, played in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
- Chose Utah for the family atmosphere, facilities and the ability to compete in the Big 12.
- Spent time in Utah while playing youth travel baseball.
