“I chose the University of Utah because they were confident in my athletic skills and desire to win. Along with this, I have always had a strong interest in my studies, and there is no better location to pursue both than the University of Utah.”
- Made a team-leading 21 appearances with four starts, finishing with a 1-3 record and two saves.
- Tallied 42 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts.
- Three of his four starts came in Big 12 Conference play.
- Made his Utah debut with a four-inning save at Pepperdine (Feb. 15), allowing just two hits and a walk as he struck out two Waves and held them scoreless.
- Longest outing of the year was 5.2 shutout innings against Arizona State (March 29), fanning a season-best five batters.
- Closed out the win over California Baptist (March 1) with a scoreless ninth inning.

- Came to the U after playing at Lane Community College in Oregon.
- Made 26 appearances with 17 starts at Lane, primarily working out of the bullpen as a freshman.
