SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team won't have to go far this weekend as they compete at the Weber State Spring Classic (April 10) before returning home to host the Utah Spring Classic at McCarthey Family Track & Field Complex this Saturday, April 11.

Utah will have 11 compete in front of the home crowd at the McCarthey Family Track & Field Complex while also honoring its six seniors ahead of the track events starting. Of the 11, this will be the first time competing in front of the Ute faithful for nine of them.

SENIOR DAY RECOGNITIONS
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help the Utah cross country and track & field program honor its six seniors prior to the start of the races on Saturday, April 11, at approximately 12:10 p.m. (MDT). The Women of Utah will honor

ALL-AMERICAN RECOGNITION
Prior to the start of the home meet this season, the Utah program will recognize its cross country All-Americans and track & field First-Team All-Americans. The ceremony is slated to begin at NOON on Saturday, April 11, from the southeast corner of the track.

KIDS RACE
The annual kids race at the Utah Spring Classic returns once again and is set to take place at approximately 12:35 p.m. (MDT) or at the conclusion of the women's 5000m race. Fans looking to sign up their child for the race are encouraged to meet with the marketing representative in the southeast corner of the track.

UP NEXT
The outdoor season continues for the Women of Utah as they travel to a familiar place in Hayward Field for the Oregon Team Invitational (April 17-18) in Eugene, Ore. The first day of action can be seen on RunnerSpace+ while the second day of action airs on Big Ten Network.
