COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Utah outside hitter
Devyn Wiest has been selected to the USA Volleyball's 2026 Women's U21 National Team which will train to compete in the 2026 NORCECA Women's U21 Pan America Cup.
Wiest is one of 27 athletes identified by USA Volleyball to train in Columbus, Ohio from June 26-July 5 and could be one of 14 athletes selected to compete for the cup from July 7-12 at the Covelli Center on the Ohio State University campus.
Tickets for the event are now on sale.
"We are incredibly proud of Devyn for earning the opportunity to represent USA Volleyball at the U21 level this summer," said head coach
Alyssa D'Errico. "This reflects the daily work, discipline, and passion she brings to our gym, and it speaks to the standard she holds herself as both a player and a teammate. To see her represent not only herself, but our university and program on an international stage is truly special. We're excited for her to continue chasing her dream of competing for the red, white, and blue, and we can't wait to watch her embrace this moment at the highest level."
Last season,
Wiest competed for the U19 team that took silver at the World Championship in Croatia, along with
D'Errico who served as an assistant coach. Weist is one of 13 athletes selected by USA Volleyball that brings previous experience competing in the organization's age-group events.
Wiest's debut season with the Utes in 2025 was cut short due to injury, but in the little time she played, she showed what her potential could be with an outstanding showing at Arizona where she posted 10 digs and 16 kills. Wiest suits up with Utah volleyball this fall as a redshirt freshman.
