The Utes look to defeat second-ranked opponent this season
THE GAME The University of Utah lacrosse team hits the road for their second away match of the season, this time taking on No. 14 University of Denver at the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium in Denver, Colo. The game is set to start on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. MT.

UTAH LACROSSE: NEED TO KNOWS
Utah is in its seventh year as a Division I program, holding an overall record of 47-35.
Head coach Andrew McMinn is in his fourth season with the Utes and is the all-time wins leader at Utah with a record of 35-15.
The Utes are in their fourth season in the ASUN conference, coming off three consecutive ASUN regular season titles (2022, 2023, 2024) and back-to-back ASUN Championships (2023, 2024).
Two Utes received ASUN preseason awards, with junior Ryan Stines claiming a unanimous vote for preseason Attack of the Year and senior Cody Hart being named preseason Midfielder of the Year.
Utah earned the top spot in the preseason ASUN Coaches Poll, the fourth straight year that Utah has been voted the No. 1 preseason ranking in the league.
Since McMinn's first season in 2022, the Utes have broken over 70 school records in just 47 games.
Utah finished 24th overall in the NCAA Men's lacrosse rankings for 2024.
LAST TIME OUT The University of Utah lacrosse team ended their cutthroat home opener in a 13-12 deficit at the hand of Delaware in the Rice-Eccles Stadium. Though they outshot the Blue Hens 48-39, their demise came in the last minute with a man-down goal by Delaware.
Seven different Utes marked a point, six of which earned at least one point from a goal.
Junior Ryan Stines marked a season high of seven points, earning two different spots in the record book. Taking third in single-game assists (5) and tying himself for ninth in single-game points (7).
The attendance at the home-opener, earned 10th-place in the record book for single-game attendance (1,427).
