FIRST SERVE
No. 18 Utah begins a four-match homestand by hosting No. 9 Washington and No. 24 Washington State. It is the second weekend in a row the Utes have played two ranked teams.

Utah comes into the weekend happy to be home as they dropped two close five-set matches to No. 15 Cal and No. 2 Stanford. The Utes sit at 13-6 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-12.

This weekend, Washington comes in at 6-2 and Washington State is 5-3 in the Pac-12. The Huskies have won five in a row heading into Friday's match. The Cougars had won four in a row before dropping their last match to Arizona State.

These matches mark the halfway point of Pac-12 play.

This Friday's match will be the Power in Pink match for the Utes. Fans that wear pink will get in for free. The first 250 fans receive pink Ute Strong head buffs.

KA'AHA'AINA-TORRES CONTROLS THE OFFENSE
Saige Ka'aha'aina-Torres had her third straight match with 50-plus assists with 57 against No. 2 Stanford.

Her average of 11.10 assists per set is the 21st best mark in the country.

She has 13 matches with at least 40 assists this season including her last eight matches. The 57 assists she had against Stanford set a new career high.

HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Utah is ranked 14th in the country averaging 2,234 people at their seven home matches so far this season.

The hometown support has been key as Utah is 6-1 in the friendly confines of the Huntsman Center.

1,000 CAREER KILLS
Dani Drews surpassed the 1,000-career kill mark against Cal after having 25 kills.

This season, she has seven 20-kill matches

The Second Team All-American led the team once again with 21 kills against Stanford and leads the team in kills so far this season with 322 kills. Against Cal, she got the job done all over the court finishing with 25 kills hitting .306, setting a career high with five aces and having 12 digs.

Drews became the 17th player in Utah volleyball history to reach the 1,000 career kill mark.
