The Basics: The Utah women's basketball program is headed to Boulder, Colo. to open Pac-12 play with a match-up against the Buffaloes on Sunday, Dec. 30. The game is set for a 1 p.m. MT tip. It is the second time since joining the Pac-12 that the Utes and Buffs have opened conference play against each other (12/31/11).
How to Tune In: The game against Colorado will air on the Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Mountain. Fans can also catch the game in action on the radio with Tyson Ewing calling the shots on ESPN 700.
The Opponent: The Colorado Buffaloes enter the game 10-1 overall with its only loss of the season coming at the hands of No. 20 Miami on the road in early December (73-58). They are led in scoring by Kennedy Leonard, who is averaging 13.9 points per game and 7.3 assists (ranks second in the Pac-12). Sophomore Mya Hollingshed is also putting up double digits this season, averaging 12.0 points while ranking in the top-12 in the league in rebounds per game (7.3).
Next Up: The Utes will return to the Jon M. Huntsman Center when they host Arizona State (Jan. 4, 7 p.m. MT) and Arizona (Jan. 6, 12 p.m. MT). Both games will air on Pac-12 Networks.
On The Road:Utah is 21-20 on the road under the direction of head coach
Lynne Roberts (2-0 in 2018-19, 7-7 in 2017-18, 6-6 in 2016-17, 6-7 in 2015-16). This the first time in the Roberts era that the Utes have opened Pac-12 play on the road.

• Utah is the only team in the Pac-12 that finished non-conference season undefeated and is one of just nine teams remaining in NCAA Division I women's basketball that hasn't lost a game.
• Utah's game against Colorado will be the 34th game between the two teams with Colorado holding a one-game lead in the all-time series (17-16).
• Utah has scored 70-plus points in all 11 games this season, ranking fourth in the Pac-12 and 30th nationally in scoring offense (79.4 points per game).
Last Time Out: Megan Huff earned Rebel Division MVP and
Daneesha Provo was named to the all-tournament team after Utah won the Rebel Division title at the Duel In The Desert tournament with a 73-48 win over Hawaii on Friday. Utah only had a four-point lead heading into halftime, but exploded for 32 points in the third to gain control over the game. Utah was led in scoring by Provo, who had 20 points along with two rebounds and two steals. Huff added her fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds while
Dre'Una Edwards chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
Utah vs. The Pac-12: The Utes are 105-148 against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011-12, Utah is 44-82 in conference play.
Hot Start:The Utes finished non-conference play 11-0, the second time under the direction of head coach that the Utes wrapped up non-conference undefeated. It ties for the second-best start in Utah women's basketball history.

Bean Gets 11:Erika Bean came away with a season-high 11 assists against Hawaii, the sixth time in her career she has had double-figure assists (career-high 12 vs. Charlotte, 2016). She has 47 career games with five or more assists and has led Utah in the category 57 times in her career.
Last Two:Daneesha Provo has averaged 19 points per game in the last two, scoring 18 against Florida and 20 against Hawaii. She has shot 54-percent from the floor in those two games combined.
Plus Five:Utah currently has two players averaging over five assists a game in
Dru Gylten (6.5) and
Erika Bean (5.6). Utah is one of just two teams in the Pac-12 to have two players averaging 5.0+ assists per game (Oregon).
