SALT LAKE CITYÂ - The No. 17-ranked Utah volleyball team will learn tonight if they earned an at-large bid into the 2017 NCAA Volleyball Tournament, with the selection show scheduled to air tonight at 7 p.m. (MST) on ESPNU.
Utah went 22-9 overall and finished in sole possession of fourth place in the Pac-12 with a record of 13-7 in league play. The 11 conference victories are the most since joining the Pac-12 Conference, surpassing last season's previous high mark of 11 wins. The 13 conference wins are also the most the program has recorded since going 14-2 in the Mountain West Conference back in 2008. Utah's 22 regular season wins are the most since 24 wins, which also came in the 2008 campaign.
Utah's fourth place finish in the Pac-12 is the highest finish since joining the league in 2011. The Utes' previous best mark was finishing in a tie for fifth place last season.

Utah currently ranks No. 17 in the nation, according to the latest AVCA Top-25 Poll and No. 13 in the most current RPI rankings of games played through Nov. 19.

Utah went 10-4 overall at home, 8-5 on the road and were a perfect 4-0 in games played on a neutral court this season. The Utes closed out the regular season winning four of its last five matches, with its only defeat coming on the road to No. 4-ranked Stanford.
Utah is seeking its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and fourth overall in the past five years. An at-large bid would give Utah its 14th appearance in the NCAA Tournament overall. Utah has an all-time record of 12-13 in the NCAA Tournament, with all 24 postseason matches coming under the direction of current head coach Beth Luaniere.
