"I have to give credit to San Diego State for putting us on our heals in the first half. They were consistently breaking to the ball well during the early part of the game and clearly deserved to get the first goal. The difference in the game was our improved effort in the second half. We played with more intensity and commitment, and that paid off with us scoring two goals. I was very proud of our ability to fight off some early adversity and come away with a win."
