HONOLULU, Hawaii--The Utah softball team dropped its second straight game of the Hawaii Invitational on Thursday, as it fell to Hawaii 9-3. The Utes committed four errors, making their total for the day nine overall.
Brianna Gourdin made the start for Utah. Gourdin stuggled in the circle, allowing nine runs (seven earned) off nine hits. The sophomore did strikeout five batters in her three and two-third innings of work. The loss drops Gourdin to 5-3 on the year.
