NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Utah baseball team fell to 1-6 on the season with a 3-0 loss at No. 7 Tulane this evening in the first game of a three-game series.
Sophomore Jason Price (0-2) suffered the loss on the mound, pitching the entire game. He gave up three runs, all unearned, on six hits. He struck out one and walked one.
The Utes committed two errors and had five hits on the game, one apiece for seniors Cort Wilson, Jared Pena and Michael Westfall, and juniors Matt Ciaramella and Tyson Olson.

Utah and Tulane play the second game of the series at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.
