LAS VEGAS, Nev.--The Utes struggled offensively as they fell to No. 17 LSU 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at the UNLV Softball Classic. Utah (4-3) now faces No. 13 DePaul at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
Senior Heather Bowlin (0-2) tossed a strong game for Utah, but allowed two runs that would prove to be the difference in the game. Utah's offense mustered up three hits, but couldn't bring home any of the runners.
Glennis Donnelly, Melissa Stahnke and Devina Quintero each had a hit in the game for the Utes. Bowlin scattered nine hits over 6.0 innings with three strikeouts and no walks.
