Utes Drop Game Two To Tigers

STOCKTON, Calif.-The Utes dropped game two of their three-game series, 7-15, to the Pacific Tigers on Friday. Utah had won game one, 10-5, earlier in the day. The loss drops the Utes to 3-5 on the year and lifts Pacific to 1-1.
Utah banged out seven runs off twelve hits, but it wasn't enough to top Pacific's 15 runs off 14 hits. Matt Ciaramella led the Utes with three RBI off two hits. Mike Westfall went two-of-three on the night, posting one RBI and scoring a run. Sean Overholt picks up his second loss of the season. Overholt gave up eight runs in three and a third innings.
Game three will be played Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (PT) at Billy Herbert Field.
