ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Utah baseball team had its five-game winning streak snapped Friday by Kansas State. The Wildcats (4-2) took advantage of six Utah (5-6) errors on their way to a 10-2 win.
The Utes only managed four hits off the Wildcat pitchers. One was a two-run home run by Donnie Saba, his second of the season.
Utah starter Travis Palmer (1-1) went five innings while allowing six runs (four earned), and six hits. He had four strike outs and only two walks.
Saturday the Utes face No. 12 ranked Nebraska at 1:30 p.m. (MST) at All Sports Stadium in Albuquerque, N.M.
