2022 – Redshirt Junior
- Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll
- Was 4-0 out of the bullpen in 18 appearances, finishing with a team-best 2.83 ERA in 28.2 innings.
- Took home the win in the series finale vs. No. 15 UCLA (April 10), dealing 1.2 innings of no-hit ball.
- Also was the winner in the middle game vs. No. 20 Arizona (April 15), spotting just a base hit in 1.1 innings.
- Earned victories in back-to-back outings vs. Northern Colorado (March 22) and Mercer (March 26).
- In his final appearance at Utah, pitched 4.1 innings at Cal (May 20) with one run on three hits, two walks and three strikeouts.
2021 – Redshirt Sophomore
- Frequent option in relief, making 18 appearances (one start).
- Had 20 strikeouts on the season.
- Fanned four batters during a three-inning outing at Oregon State (April 1).
- Picked up one save in an inning’s work vs. Utah Valley (May 12) and had a strikeout.
- Worked a season-long 3.1 innings vs. Oregon (May 14).
2020 – Sophomore
- Made five appearances out of the bullpen.
- Led the team with two saves and finished the season with a 4.30 ERA.
- Stuck out 14 batters in 14.2 innings pitched, going 1-1 on the year.
- Lone win in the shortened season came at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Feb. 21), working four shutout innings with two strikeouts against two hits and a walk.
- Added a four-inning save at UT Arlington (Feb. 29) and a three-inning save with three K’s at Minnesota (March 7).
2019 – Freshman
- Appeared in 18 games, with eight of those being starts.
- Finished the year with a 5.10 ERA and was second on the team with 35 strikeouts.
- Closed the season pitching eight innings against UC Davis (May 25), holding to one run on four hits.
- Season high six strikeouts came at Grand Canyon (March 18).
- Earned his second save of the season against USC pitching 2.1 innings (April 13).
Prior to Utah
- Played scholastically at Clovis West for head coach Kevin Patrick.
- Finished his high school career with a 1.50 ERA.
- Threw a no hitter in his junior season.
- Named First Team All-League.
- Also played football in high school.
Personal
- Son of Dave and Bonnie Schramm.
- Identical twin brother, DJ, is a linebacker on the Boise State football team.
- Father was an assistant football coach for the Utes from 2005-11 and on staff for the undefeated 2008 season.
- Enjoys hiking, fishing, playing video games and watching football.
