SALT LAKE CITY – The Big 12 Conference has released the dates and site designations for the league's 2025-26 women's basketball season, and Utah will host nine conference foes at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in its second Big 12 campaign. Specific times for each game will be announced after television selections are finalized.
Head Coach Gavin Petersen's team is coming off its fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and 20-win seasons. The Utes will return four key contributors in Maty Wilke, Brooke Walker, Reese Ross and Samantha Crispe. Utah welcomes four new freshmen and two transfers, including a familiar face in Lani White who played at Utah for her freshman and sophomore seasons. White transferred back to the Utes to finish her collegiate career where she started.
The Utes open their 18-game Big 12 schedule on the road at Arizona on Monday, Dec. 22 before hosting Arizona State, Dec. 31 in the Huntsman Center. The Utes then welcome TCU back to Salt Lake City on Jan. 3 for the first time since 2011.
Utah will get back on the road Jan. 7 to take on Kansas and then Kansas State Jan. 11. Utah will host the Baylor Bears on Jan. 14 before heading back on the road to take on the Houston Cougars.
Utah will return to Salt Lake City to host Texas Tech Jan. 24 and West Virginia Jan. 27. This will be the Mountaineers first trip to the Huntsman Center. The Utes will then hit the road just south to take on rival BYU, Saturday, Jan. 31.
The Utes will play UCF in Orlando, Fla. on Feb. 4 before returning home to host Iowa State Feb. 7. Utah will rematch with Arizona State on the road Feb. 11 before hosting Cincinnati Feb. 14.
Utah will head to Oklahoma State Feb. 16 before hosting rival BYU Feb. 21.
The Utes' final road game of the regular season will be in Boulder, Colo. to take on the Buffs Feb. 24. The regular season finale will occur Feb. 28 with a rematch against Arizona at home.
The 2025 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 4-8 in Kansas City, Mo., at the T-Mobile Center.
