Utah managed just five hits in falling to 17-20 on the season (2-11 Pac-12), while the host Wildcats improved to 28-8 (7-5 Pac-12).
Utah put runners on base in each of the first two innings, with singles from Haley Denning and Alyssa Barrera, but could not mount any offensive threat as Arizona caught fire and hit five home runs among its 15 hits.
