PARK CITY, Utah - The University of Utah men's golf team will return to action this coming Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 3-4, hosting the Utah OGIO Invitational at The Jeremy Ranch Golf and Country Club.
Alongside Utah, the tournament will feature eight other five-man teams and 15 individual golfers for a combined total of 60 players competing next week. Teams joining Utah in the field will be Boise State, Lamar, Little Rock, Southern Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State and Westminster.
The tournament will play at par 71 and 7,129 yards next week. The event will feature 54 holes played over two days. Teams will play 36 holes (first and second rounds) on Monday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. MDT, followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Tuesday's final round will also feature a shotgun start at 9 a.m. MDT.

Christian James will play as individuals in the tournament.
Coming off a third-place finish at the Mark Simpson Invitational in Colorado this past week, Utah had two players finish among the top-10. Schow carded back-to-back rounds under par and closed out the event with a team-best 4-under 68, while tying for fourth overall at 7-under (72-69-68=209). Dunkle finished at 1-under in the final round and finished in a tie for ninth overall with a three-round score of 5-under (67-73-71=211).
Utah, who opened the 2016-17 season with a second-place finish at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate, has turned in back-to-back top-three finishes for the first time since 2009-10.
