Utes Travel to Vegas for MWC Tournament
The University of Utah baseball team heads to Las Vegas this week to take part in the Mountain West Conference Tournament.
The Utes enter the tournament as the No. 6 seed, finishing the MWC season with a 9-13 overall record. Utah is 27-26 overall heading into tournament play. The Utes will face No. 3 seed San Diego State in the first round of the tournament. That game will take place Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. PDT.
With a win over the Aztecs, Utah would face the winner of the BYU-Air Force first-round game. A loss would mean a game with the loser of that Falcon-Cougar clash.
