STOCKTON, Calif. - The Utah baseball team fell to 4-10 on the year with a 3-0 loss at Pacific this afternoon. Utah managed just five hits by five different players in the defeat.
Junior Doug Mackay (1-4) suffered the loss on the mound, pitching all eight innings. He gave up three runs on eight hits, while striking out five and walking two.
Pacific scored in the bottom of the first and fifth innings on RBI-singles. The Tigers plated another run in the sixth on a sacrifice hit for the 3-0 win.
