Utes Place Two on MWC Championship All-Tournament Team

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Junior Cort Wilson and sophomore Brady Martinez have been named to the all-tournament team at the Mountain West Conference Baseball Championship. Wilson was the sole infielder on the team, while Martinez was the relief pitcher.

Wilson, a junior from Sandy, Utah, went 7-of-13 (.538) in three games. He had two doubles, one home run and four RBI, and a .938 slugging percentage at the tournament. Wilson drove in the game-tying and game-winning runs in Utah's 7-6 extra-inning win over Air Force on Thursday.

A sophomore from Price, Utah, Martinez was 1-0 at the tournament. He posted a 3.60 ERA in two appearances. In five innings pitched, he gave up two runs on five hits. He also struck out six with no walks.
