Softball Falls to Fresno State

Fresno State's softball team shutout the Univerity of Utah on Friday, 6-0. The Bulldogs improve to 4-2 with the win, while the Utes fall to 5-6.
Amanda Scott led the way for Fresno, going 2-for-4 with two RBI's. She also picked up her first win of the season, striking out six and limiting the Utes to four hits in five innings of work. Becky Witt was 1-for-4 and scored two runs.
The Bulldogs are at home next week, March 5-8, when they host the first Annual Fresno State Classic--a four-day Top 25 ten-team tourney field at Bulldog Diamond.
