Allen is entering her third season as the Director of Operations for Utah Volleyball. Allen joined the Utes from North Carolina Central University, where she served as the assistant coach for the 2022 fall season.Â
Allen has been responsible for many organizational tasks including creating travel itineraries, ordering food and distributing per diem, along with coordinating practice times with visiting teams' director of operations. Additionally, Allen has aided with all recruiting visits, equipment orders and branding, as well as playing a crucial role as the team liaison to the compliance department, budgeting group, and foundation management.Â
Prior to entering her coaching role at North Carolina Central, Allen worked for SportPerformanceU in an administrative internship. Allen was heavily involved with scheduling athletes for analysis, checking athletes in and out, marketing research, and also had a role in updating the company's website and social media pages. Additionally, Allen gained experience as an intern with Yale Athletics where she assisted with facilities, event management, and scheduling.Â
Allen was a defensive specialist during her college career at Southern Connecticut State University from 2019-2021 after playing her freshman season at Lock Haven University. Allen was a three-time Dean's List selection and graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management from SCSU. Allen completed her master's degree in sport management. She was a Northeast 10 Conference Academic Honor Roll student while at SCSU.Â
