Utes set to face conference-mates for the league title
THIS WEEK
Utah Golf prepares for its second crack at the Big 12 Championship presented by Allstate, heading to Hutchinson, Kansas, to take on all 15 conference-mates at consensus top 25 rated Prairie Dunes Country Club.
Last season, the Utes finished in seventh place after earning the three seed, and will look to improve their standing in year two.
This season, Utah starts as the sixth seed, pairing with BYU, TCU, and Kansas in a shotgun start.
All 16 teams will play 36 holes during Monday's start, followed by two 18-hole days on Tuesday and Wednesday to complete a 72-hole event to crown a champion.
The individual and team stroke play champions will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals.
Utah has had just over two weeks to refine a seventh place finish in their regular season finale at the Thunderbird earlier this month where junior Sergio Jimenez finished tied for ninth individually.

We are looking to build some confidence after a few rough weeks. Prairie Dunes is a top 25 course in America. The conditions will be challenging with strong winds and high rough. It will be a great week!"
TOURNAMENT DETAILS
All 16 teams will play 36 holes on Monday, April 27 to start the tournament off, followed by two 18-hole days on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29 to complete a 72-hole event to crown a champion.
