SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah diving program will travel to Flagstaff, Ariz., for the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships this weekend as postseason competition continues.
Eight divers will represent Utah in Flagstaff.

Elias Petersen will make up the men's squad and
Cierra Cole,
Callie Eaglestone,
Kathryn Grant,
Emilia Nilsson Garip and
Annalise Shrader will all compete on the women's side.

Looking Back
Utah divers showed out at the Big 12 Championships last week, claiming seven conference medals.
- The men's team of Bernatsky, Just and Petersen and the women's team of Eaglestone, Grant and Nilsson Garip both won gold in the team event to kick off the conference meet.
- Petersen also claimed individual gold on the 1-meter springboard thanks to a score of 400.10.
- The Utah women placed second, third and fourth on the 1-meter board. Nilsson Garip took second with a 303.95, Grant earned bronze with a 301.20 and Eaglestone came in fourth with a 297.75 list total.
- Petersen claimed second on the men's 3-meter springboard with a 425.30 list score, the fourth-best on the event in program history.
- Eaglestone won bronze on the 3-meter board, scoring 326.25. The sophomore also came in fifth on platform with a 240.05.
- Petersen also reached platform finals, finishing sixth with a 331.35.

Utah earned a total of 10 Big 12 Conference weekly awards this season:

Since joining the Big 12 prior to last season, Utah has claimed 20 weekly awards, 13 of which have come from divers. Petersen leads all Utes with five weekly awards, all Diver of the Week nods, and was recognized as the conference's Diver of the Year a season ago.
