Sergio Jimenez has strong day three to put Utes within top-10

Par/Yardage: Par 70, 6,742 yards
DAY THREE RECAP
STANFORD, Cali. — Utah Golf finished tied for eighth at the Goodwin, ending the tournament 5-over 845 after Sergio Jimenez carded a 5-under 65 day to get Utes back within the top-10.
Jimenez closed out the final day of competition at the Goodwin on a high note, shooting 5-under 65 on the day to card a 3-under total score and take a tie for 16th. Jimenez was the only Ute to finish under par on day three and for all three days at The Goodwin.
Mid-year transfer Jack Jerge recovered nicely from day two, recording an even-70 for day three to make his final total 1-over for the entire competition.
Seniors Davis Johnson and Brandon Robison rounded out Utah's tie for eighth going 3-over 73 and 4-over 74 in day three, resulting in the pair to finish 3-over and 4-over respectively for the entirety of the competition.
