BERMERTON, Wash.- The No. 24 Utah Golf team wrapped up their time at the Tindall with a second-place finish and junior
Gabriel Palacios taking a piece of the individual title.
The Utes finished strong to take second at the Gold Mountain Golf Club (7,179 yards/par 72) Tuesday, carding 32-under (832) over three rounds of play as a team after shooting 8-under par to finish out the tournament.
Palacios never relented the top spot after shooting 10-under par with back-to-back rounds of 5-under (67) scores the day prior. The Guatemalan junior rounded out his time at the Tindall shooting 4-under (68) in the third round, putting him at 14-under par for the entire tournament and taking a piece of the individual title with BYU's Peter Kim.
Fellow junior,
Sergio Jimenez had a monster final day at the Tindall carding 6-under (66) to elevate from a tie for 10
th on Monday to a tie for third to end the tournament with a 10-under par total score.
Senior
Brandon Robison finished just outside of the top 10 at No. 11 going 5-under (67) for a 5-under par finish.
Senior
Davis Johnson finished 1-over (73) in round three for a 2-under par total while sophomore
Adam Croix rounded out the Utes' individual efforts 5-over (77) in round three for an 11-over par final score.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Utes will have close to a month off before teeing up again in the Williams Cup from Oct.19-21 and will wrap up their fall schedule a few days later at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate from Oct. 24-26.
