SALT LAKE CITY – After a long offseason, the Utah Volleyball team has reported back to campus to begin official preparation for their 2025 season on Thursday, July 31.
"I think it is an exciting season to go into," said head Utah Volleyball coach
Beth Launiere. "We have tremendous talent, but we'll have to develop a little bit of the experience in new roles. A big part of what we need to do early on is let them get on the court, and compete. We have a lot of decisions to make to put this team together, but we certainly have the pieces. It's a good place to be. There are endless possibilities."

placed five athletes on the All-Big 12 Team, and
four receiving AVCA All-Region honors.
Outside hitter
Kamryn Gibadlo earned the program's 24th AVCA All-America recognition as an honorable mention, and is already commanding attention heading into 2025 making
the AVCA Division I Player of the Year preseason watch list.

UTES ON THE BIG STAGE
While Utah Volleyball got some well-deserved rest in the offseason, several Utes had opportunities to sharpen and showcase their talents nationally and internationally.
Freshman Devyn Wiest, along with
associate head coach Alyssa D'Errico spent a good part of their summer playing for, and coaching the USA Volleyball U19 National Team to a silver medal in the World Championship held in Croatia.
Gibadlo wrapped up
playing for the USA Volleyball U21 National Team in late July, winning gold in the Pan America Cup in Costa Rica.
Additionally, Clemson transfer
Neea-Maria Joki earned an opportunity to compete on the Finland Senior National Women's Volleyball Team for the European Championship early this fall.

LOOKING TO 2025
Utah Volleyball will be tested early and often in 2025, starting their season with an exhibition match against Texas in Austin on August 15. The Utes' schedule is littered with challenging matchups including Dayton, Texas A&M, Utah State, Nebraska, Arizona State, TCU and rival BYU among others.
