SALT LAKE CITY – The 2025 season is fast approaching for the University of Utah's women's soccer program, which is set to hold its first practice of the season on Tuesday to open fall camp.
"We had an incredible spring season," said coach
Hideki Nakada, "and the team has put in a tremendous amount of work over the summer to prepare for this fall, so I couldn't be more excited to officially kick-off the new season.
"This is without a doubt the most exhilarating roster we've had during my time at the U. We have a strong core of experienced upperclassmen who bring leadership and skill sets across all four lines of the field, complemented by a talented group of newcomers.
"With the athleticism and technical ability this group possesses, we have the versatility to play in multiple styles and adapt to different systems. I'm excited to get to work and make it all come together."
2025 SCHEDULE
The team will hit the field for their first game on Aug. 14 at Gonzaga and fans will have 11 chances to catch the Utes on their home turf, starting Aug. 21 when Utah hosts Westminster at 7 p.m. at Ute Field. Big 12 play gets underway when Nakada's bunch welcomes Cincinnati to Salt Lake City on Sept. 24 in the first-ever meeting between the two programs. For the full schedule,
