Kamper Set to Compete in NCAA Individual Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. — Utah women's tennis' Emma Kamper is set to compete at the NCAA Individual Championships Nov. 18-21 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
Kamper is set to take on Michigan's Piper Charney at 9:30 a.m. (MT) on court three. Fans can tune in on ESPN+
Kamper qualified for the NCAA Championships after making it to the finals in the ITA Mountain Regionals. She entered the regional tournament as the No. 1 seed and started with a strong 6-0, 6-3 win over UNLV's Kaho Oyama in the main round of 64. Then, she posted a 6-4, 6-4 win over Denver's Zoe Adkins. Kamper faced NAU's No. 9 Patrycja Niewiadomska in the round of 16, where she won with 6-4, 6-2 scores to advance to the quarterfinals. Kamper's momentum stayed hot in her quarterfinal play as she had a 6-2, 6-2 win over Boise State's Tereza Polakova. Kamper went on to face teammate, Emmie Moore in the semifinals, where she won with 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 scores to advance to the finals. Her finals appearance earned her spot in the NCAA Individual Championships.
