STARTING BLOCK
The Women of Utah will send a dozen to the Arkansas Qualifier this week to compete across six events. Of the 12,
Josefine Eriksen will be making just her second indoor appearance while the rest are competing in their third or fourth meet of the year. The last time Eriksen competed, she set the program's 400m record with a run of 53.53 (aa) at the MLK Invitational.

Utah alums have had great success since graduating from the U as of late. Lisha Van Onselen (2021-22) will represent her country of South Africa at the 2024 World Athletics Cross Country Championships on March 30 in Belgrade, Serbia. This year's world championships will take place in the Park of Friendship adjacent to Danube – which was the site of the 2013 European Championships.

Recently graduate and All-American
Simone Plourde qualified for this year's World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. The 19th edition of the world championships is scheduled to take place from March 1-3 inside Commonwealth Arena.

Another All-American for the Women of Utah, Poppy Tank, will also be competing this Sunday, Feb. 18, at the UK Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England. Tank is set to compete in the 3000m race inside Utilita Arena Birmingham at 7:24 a.m. (MT) / 14:24 p.m. (GMT).

LAST TIME OUT
The Women of Utah had a solid showing at the Husky Classic last weekend with four new entries into the all-time record book led by
Erin Vringer's third-fastest 3000m time ever for Ute (9:06.46).
Morgan Jensen (15:59.42) ran the fourth-fastest 5000m time while teammate
McKaylie Caesar (16:27.34) ran the eighth-fastest 5000m at Utah. Freshman
Grace Moroney also joined in on the fun and posted the 10th fastest mile time in program history (4:48.85).

Utah will send its team back up to the PNW one last time for the Ken Shannon Last Chance Invite inside Dempsey Indoor Feb. 23-24 as the Women of Utah try to run a qualifying mark for the NCAA Indoor Championships – which is scheduled to take place at the Track at new balance in Boston, Mass., March 8-9.
