IN THE RANKINGS
Utah head into the NCAA Mountain Regionals ranked No. 9 in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll after finishing third at the Big 12 Championships. The No. 9 ranking marks the fourth-straight week it has been ranked in the top-10.
FIRST TIME HOSTS
This year's NCAA Mountain Regional will be held in Reno for the first time ever dating back to 1989. Last year's race was also the first time the City of Lubbock hosted a regional race as well. Since 1989, Utah has hosted the most NCAA Mountain Regionals with nine – including seven-straight from 1989-95. BYU and New Mexico are tied for second having hosted six times while Weber State and Colorado State have hosted five times apiece with Utah State checking in with two.
The NCAA Mountain Regionals will return to a familiar location with Salt Lake City playing host in 2025 – the first time its hosted since 2019.

Anna Peters, who all earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors, return to the line-up this year for Utah at the mountain regionals and will be joined by

Lindsey Peters and
Erin Vringer.
HISTORICALLY AT THE REGIONALS
Utah has been consistent in the last decade at the NCAA Mountain Regionals, finishing in the top-10 nine of the last 10 seasons. Utah's best finish ever came in 2022 when it placed second after winning the tiebreaker. That year also ended up being Utah's best finish at the NCAA Championships (12th).
