SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 46 University of Utah women's tennis program is set for a four-game home stand, starting with three matches this week.
The Utes host Loyola Marymount on Thursday, April 11 at 1:30 p.m. MT, No. 5 Stanford on Friday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m. MT and No. 19 California on Sunday, April 14 at 11 a.m. MT. All three matches are free to the public and will be at the Eccles Tennis Center on the University of Utah campus.
There will be a live stream for all three matches with updates also available on Twitter (@UteWomensTennis) and Instagram (@UtahWomensTennis). Results and a recap will be available after the end of each match on UtahUtes.com.
Utah is 11-8 overall this season and 2-5 in Pac-12 play, ranking No. 46 in the ITA polls. The matches against Stanford and California will be the Utes' seventh and eighth ranked matches this season, coming off three straight matches against top-50 opponents.
The Utes have had a strong mix of veteran experience and feisty youth this season with senior
Brianna Chisholm leading the way at the No. 1 singles spot. She is 8-8 overall this season in singles with one of her wins coming against then-ranked No. 69 Stacey Fung of Washington.
The newcomers for the Utes have also had strong seasons, combining for 34 singles wins.
Madison Tattini is 9-6 overall this season at No. 2 singles with
Emily Dush posting a 9-8 record on court three.
Lindsay Hung is 8-3 this season on the No. 4 court while redshirt sophomore transfer
Leah Heimuli is 7-8 overall in her first season with the Utes.
After Utah's three-game stretch this week, they will take a short break from competition before hosting Colorado on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m. MT for Senior Day.
