The Basics: The Utah women's basketball program is looking to bounce back after its first loss of the season when they take on the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday, Jan. 6. The game is set for a 12 p.m. MT tip in the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
How to Tune In: The game against Arizona will air on Pac-12 Arizona and Mountain. Fans can also catch the game in action on the radio with Tyson Ewing calling the shots on ESPN 700.
The Opponent: The Arizona Wildcats enter the game 12-1 overall and at the top of the Pac-12 rankings heading into Sunday. Their lone loss of the season came two games in against Loyola Marymount, falling 66-64. They are led in scoring by sophomore guard Aari McDonald, who is averging 24.8 points per game, which ranks first in the Pac-12. Freshman Cate Reese is also putting up 12.8 points per game while also recording a team-high 8.7 rebounds per contest. Adia Barnes is in her third season with the Wildcats after spending five seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Washington.
Next Up: The Utes hit the road again for a pair of games in the Pacific Northwest, taking on Washington State (Jan. 11, 8 p.m. MT) and Washington (Jan. 13, 3 p.m. MT). Both games will air on the Pac-12 Networks.

Last Time Out: The Utes suffered its first loss of the season when Arizona State scored eight unanswered points in the final 1:28 of the game, including a buzzer-beater bank shot that was the game-winner.
Megan Huff led the Utes in scoring and rebounding with 17 points and 10 rebounds with
Daneesha Provo chipping in 13 points.
Dre'Una Edwards added 10 points while
Erika Bean recorded eight points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Utah vs. The Pac-12: The Utes are 106-149 against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011-12, Utah is 45-83 in conference play.
Huff on the Double: Megan Huff has notched a double-double in seven games, including in the last three, tying for 18
thnationally while also ranking third in the Pac-12. She has 13 double-doubles since becoming a Utes and 18 in her career (5 at Hawaii).
Bean Keeps Moving Up: Erika Bean has 72 assists through 13 games, giving her 444 in her career. She is just the eighth player in program history to have 400 career assists and has cracked the top-five all-time in program history. Her five assists against Arizona State pushed her into fifth, passing Karen Alcorn (1988-92, 440). She is eight away from tying for fourth all-time with her former teammate
Danielle Rodriguez (452, 2012-16).
Made Half: The Utes shot 50-percent from the floor against Arizona State, its second highest shooting percentage this season (.633 at Eastern Washington). Utah has shot 45-percent or higher in 10 of the 13 games this season, ranking third in the Pac-12 and 14
thnationally in overall field goal percentage (.475).
Dre Does 10: Dre'Una Edwards put up 10 points in Utah's game against Arizona State, the 11
thtime she has reached double figures this season. She shot a season-high 83-percent from the floor against the Sun Devils and ranks seventh in the Pac-12 (second among freshmen).
Bean Blocks: Erika Bean finished with a team-high two blocks against Arizona State, the fourth time this season and 16
thtime in her career that she has led the team in the category.
Kiana Keeps Improving: After only scoring 1.9 points per game last season, junior
Kiana Moore has stepped up as a key member off the bench, averaging 5.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. She has reached double-figures twice this season and has scored at least five points in six of the last seven games.
