Three Pointers:
• Utah jumped into the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2008 when they finished the season ranked No. 18 in the final poll.
• Utah's seven Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors is the second most by a program in a season and it is just the second time in Pac-12 history that a program has had three separate student-athletes win.
• The Utes are currently one of nine teams with one or less losses this season, tying for sixth nationally and first in the Pac-12 in winning percentage (.944).
Last Time Out: The Utes defeated the Cal Golden Bears for the third time in the last four meetings with an 87-74 win in the Huntsman Center on Friday night. Utah had four double-digit scorers while shooting over 50-percent from the floor for the fifth time in the last six games.
Megan Huff led the Utes with 24 points, nine rebounds and two steals.
Kiana Moore added 18 points, shooting 8-of-12 from the floor along with a career-high eight boards.
Dre'Una Edwards chipped in 15 points and four assists with
Dru Gylten putting up 11 points and six assists.
Utah vs. The Pac-12: The Utes are 111-149 against the current members of the Pac-12. Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011-12, Utah is 50-83 in conference play.
A History In Rankings: Utah entered the AP Top 25 poll this week at No. 21, the first time the Utes have been ranked since 2008 when they went 25-7 and 16-0 in the Mountain West Conference to finish at No. 18 in the final poll. The highest the Utes have been ranked in the AP Poll was No. 11 in 1998.
Huff Gets 20: Megan Huff has scored in the 20-point range in three of the last four games and 10 times this season. She has 17, 20-point games in her career at Utah with her 10 games this season ranking fifth in the Pac-12.
Quiet Confidence: Although her shot total doesn't rank high in the Pac-12, graduate transfer
Sarah Porter has been lethal for the Utes from the three-point line. She currently ranks fifth in the Pac-12 and first on the team in three-point percentage (.462), shooting 18-of-39 from the arc.
Dre Shoots, She Scores: Freshman
Dre'Una Edwards shot 66-percent from the floor in Utah's win over Cal, her 11
thgame this season shooting 50-percent or higher. She currently leads all freshmen in the Pac-12 (5
thoverall) and is third nationally among freshmen (34
thoverall) in field goal percentage (.554).
Ki is Clicking: Kiana Moore has been averaging 10.4 points per game in conference play with some help from her 18 points against California. She knocked down a career-high eight made field goals, but also followed it up with a career-best eight rebounds in 40 minutes of playing time.
