BOULDER, Colo. – Pac-12 Men's Golf Championship competition on Saturday has been cancelled due to overnight snow at Boulder Country Club. There will be an attempt to complete the remainder of Friday's second round, along with the entire third round on Sunday.
With 12 players still on the course, Friday's second round was suspended late in the evening due to darkness. Those players were set to complete the second round on Saturday along with the start of the third round, but snow accumulations of 3-4 inches at BCC forced officials to cancel action and deem the course unplayable.
Tournament officials now have a goal to get 54 holes completed, which would shorten the event from its scheduled 72 holes. The earliest start for the completion of the second round will be 10 a.m. MDT, with the third round to follow (with a shotgun start). The starting time is fluid depending on the course conditions, but the forecast is calling for a break in the precipitation and temperatures to climb into the low 50s.
