What Coach Clegg Says
"I am really excited to see what we can do this week," said Utah head coach
Garrett Clegg. "A week with inclement weather, which usually means the strongest players are the ones most prepared to deal with the bad weather. Our guys are extremely excited about that and think it can be an advantage for them. Anything that helps them think is advantage for them is good for us."
"It may have been good for us to not play that great in Iowa. We had been playing really well, and then we struggled in Iowa. We need to understand that as a team, we always need to be hungry. We didn't drive the ball well in our last tournament so we have been working on and addressing that and hopefully we have that straightened out a little bit better. This golf course that we will be playing is very streamlined with trees, so we will need to hit the ball into the fairway to have any success."
"Kyler has played this course quite a bit and Colorado is home for him, so I think he is the most excited to get out there and compete on this golf course. Gentry has been playing very well as of late and I know he would like to finish his career the right way. Jordan has had some good tournaments. He has been battling his swing, but has still found a way to get the ball in the hole. Mitchell is right there and he could have a good week for us, as well."
