Brighton, Colo.- Utah completed the first two rounds of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate with a total score of 12-over-par (588). Utah is currently in a tie for seventh place in the 14-team tournament. The Utes had a total first round score of 306, and added a second round of 282.
Casey Fowles lead the way with an even par day, rounds of 73 and 71, putting him in a tie for 10th. Luke Swillor had a one-over-par total with scores of 73 and 72 he is tied for 15th. Carl Jensen finished tied for 26th with his three-over-par, compiled by scores of 79 and 68. Steve Newren finished in a tie for 55th with a total score of nine-over-par, and Garrett Clegg had a 10-over-par day and is tied for 60th.
North Carolina-Wilmington leads the tournament at even-par, followed by Oregon State and host Denver each with a total score of one-over-par. Utah will compete in the final round on Tuesday, October 1st, starting at 8 a.m.
