Wahiawa, Hawaii- The University of Utah golf team finished play at the John Burns Intercollegiate on Friday. Utah finished 10th with a team score of 864 (287-286-291), even-par. The Utes were led by Casey Fowles who finished the tournament in 12th with a 213 (69-68-76), three-under-par.
Garrett Clegg was 23rd finishing at one-under, 215 (69-73-73), Luke Swilor ended up in 40th with a 219 (75-72-72) three-over. Carl Jensen added a 222 (74-73-75), six-over. Steve Newren finished with a score of 223 (76-76-71), seven-over.
Arizona led the tournament the whole way and won with a team score of 843 (280-283-280), 21-under. San Diego State and New Mexico tied for second at 14-under.
