Colorado Springs, Colo.- The Utes finished the Falcon Invitational on Sunday, Utah finished in fifth place after the three-day tournament with a total score of 26-over-par (890). Utah had the lead after the first day, fell to third after the second day and finished with a final round of 311 to put them in fifth.
Leading the Utes was Garrett Clegg in a tie for seventh by finishing three-over-par (219), Carl Jensen finished with a four-over (220), leaving him in a tie for 10th. Steve Newren tied for 32nd with a nine-over (225), Ashdon Woods tied for 66th with his 15-over (231), and Casey Fowles had a 17-over (233).
UTEP won the tournament with an even-par (864) team score. Following the Miners was Denver (881), and New Mexico JV (886).
