Colorado Springs, Colo.- The Utah men's golf team finished day two at the Falcon Invitational with a score of 298, which puts them three-over-par for the tournament. With that score the Utes fell from first place to third, 10 strokes behind UTEP, which posted a day two score of 286, the Miners are seven-under-par after the second round.
The Utes are lead by Garrett Clegg who had a second round score of one-under-par (71), making him three-under for the tournament and putting him in a tie for third place. Carl Jensen had an even par round of 72 keeping him at two-under and is currently tied for fifth. Steve Newren who was tied for the lead after the first round had a four-over-par (76), giving him a two round score of even par and is tied for tenth. Casey Fowles scored a nine-over-par (81), putting him in a tie for 69th and Ashdon Woods added a seven-over-par (79), leaving him in a tie for 73rd.
