Former All-American Niki Glasmann in her second season as a volunteer assistant at Utah, coaching daughters Megan and Chrissy in the javelin. Megan is a junior who finished second at the Pac-12 Championships last year while Chrissy is a freshman who holds the Utah high school record in the event. Glasmann (formerly Nye) earned All-America honors in the javelin at Texas in 1988, finishing fourth at the NCAA Championships. Her school record of 182-6 in the event still stands. Glasmann finished fourth at the Olympic trials that year and was the first alternate. Glasmann, who attended Roy High School, was also a two-time Utah state javelin champion. Glasmann and husband Tommy have four children: Megan, Chrissy, Jaynie and Tom.
