Logan Andrews begins his first season with the Utah Swimming & Diving program in 2025-26 after joining the staff as an assistant diving coach in June of 2025.
Andrews comes to SLC after spending the last two seasons at New Mexico as the head diving coach (2023-25).
During his time with the Lobos, Andrews coached four qualifiers to NCAA Zones. He also recruiting junior Isabella Gomez – who broke the 15-year-old UNM record on the platform (5 dives) at the 2025 Mountain West Championships. In 2024, Gomez joined Utah divers Holly Waxman and Callie Eaglestone as 1-of-7 women to advance to all three finals at NCAA Zones.
Prior to his time in Albuquerque, Andrews served as the diving coach for both men’s and women’s programs at Ouachita Baptist University for the 2022-23 campaign. While with the Tigers, Andrews led a pair of freshmen (Samuel Wood & Bryce Benson) to second and third-place finishes, respectively, in the 1-meter event at the New South Intercollegiate Swimming Conference Championships.
The Layfayette, Ind., native dove at Auburn from 2017-21 and qualified for NCAA Zones all four years while also being a two-time finalist at SEC Championships. In the classroom, Andrews was a CSCAA Scholar All-America honoree in 2020 and member of the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll. In addition, he was also an integral member of the Auburn community, going on several community service trips during his time there. He was also a teammate of current Utah assistant swim coach Aly Tetzloff during his time at Auburn.
While at Auburn, Andrews also served as an assistant diving coach at Foxcroft East Racquet & Swim Club in Charlotte, N.C. He then served as the assistant coach at the Carolina Diving Academy out of college before joining the Ouachita Baptist coaching staff.
Andrews graduated from Auburn with a degree in exercise science.
