UTAH: Started at nickel back his senior year after playing primarily on        special teams his first three seasons ... played in all 49 games in his four seasons with        eight starts ... 4.40 40 speed ... signed with Utah in 2007 but served an LDS church        mission before joining the team in 2010.
         2013-Played in all 12 games and started eight at nickel back ... in his        best season as a Ute, he had 27 tackles, 3.0 TFL (1.0 sacks), two pass breakups, a forced        fumble and a fumble recovery ... scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery vs. Weber State        ... six tackles against Washington state ... five tackles, including two for a loss of 13        yards, in his first career start against BYU ... second-team Academic All-Pac-12.
         2012-Played in all 12 games on special teams ... got in at nickel back        against Washington State ... five total tackles ... two tackles against Oregon State.        
         2011-Played in all 13 games on special teams ... three total tackles ... Pac-12        All-Academic honorable mention. 
         2010-Played in 12 games on special teams (missed the bowl game with a hand        injury) ... 11 total tackles ... three tackles at Iowa State ... two tackles against        Colorado State and BYU ... blocked a punt against San Jose State.
HIGH SCHOOL: First-team all-region and second-team all-state as a senior in 2006 ... played for Lone Peak High School's (Utah) 2004 and 2005 region champion teams ... Long Peak had the state's best defense from 2005-06 ... also lettered in track and baseball.
PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Janice Honeycutt ... mother is a Utah graduate ... one sister ... served a church mission in Brazil ... enjoys ping pong, bowling and drawing ... graduated in the fall of 2013 with a bachelor's degree in communication ... full name is Michael Thomas Honeycutt ... born Aug. 18, 1988 in Renton, Wash.
