PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Jennifer Kruger … father played football for Oregon State … three brothers and two sisters … older brothers Paul (2007-08), Dave (2009-12) and Joe (2010-12) were all starting defensive linemen for the Utes … Paul was a second-round NFL draft pick of Baltimore in 2009 and has played for three NFL teams … Joe was selected in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft by Philadelphia … served an LDS church mission in Australia … has not declared a major but is interested in political science.
